Wow Wow Wow I felt like I was a fly on the wall while reading about Nicole Brown I know this story is fictional, but it s so real I cursed Nicole, yelled at her, shook my kindle, and at times, wanted to throw it across the room Heroin is a terrorist Truer words were never written Nicole frustrated me at every turn I both loved her and hated her Drugs ruin everything and Marni Mann opened my eyes and taught me so much This will stay with me for a very long time.

I m kind of at a loss for words This was probably one of the grittiest, most difficult books I ve read Watching Nicole s gut wrenching downward spiral into drugs was like watching a train wreck And just when you think things can t get much worseey do I need to take a break before reading the sequel I really hope that Nicole gets her life back on track In the meantime, I feel like I need to scrub myself from the inside out because this book made me feel all kinds of icky

Stunning, intense and utterly raw story of one girl s descent into the hell of addiction Anyone close to an addict or alcoholic needs to read this ASAP for an up close and brutally open account of how addiction makes people do and say things they would never, ever otherwise do Anyone with an addiction will see themselves in every page and, I believe, better understand the disease Gritty and not necessarily appropriate for younger readers I give this book my highest recommendation.
